Spanish Evaluations - evaluaciones en español

PCEA se enorgullece de poder ofrecer evaluaciones en español.

 En los Estados Unidos, casi 9 millones de estudiantes en edad escolar hablan español como primer idioma. La mejor manera de evaluar a estos estudiantes es mediante pruebas en inglés y español. Esto permite al evaluador determinar las causas subyacentes de por qué un estudiante tiene dificultades para leer. Sin una evaluación cuidadosa, para estos estudiantes, los educadores pueden diagnosticar erróneamente la dislexia como simplemente la lucha por aprender un nuevo idioma.

IDEA says…

Each public agency must ensure that assessments and other evaluation materials used to assess a child under Part 300 are provided and administered in the child’s native language or other mode of communication and in the form most likely to yield accurate information on what the child knows and can do academically, developmentally, and functionally, unless it is clearly not feasible to provide or administer.
